American to add regional jet service from Tweed to Charlotte 

Tweed New Haven Regional Airport will gain its first new commercial destination since 2006 when American Airlines begins what initially will be weekly, nonstop service between New Haven and Charlotte, N.C., city and airport officials announced Monday.

American will add Saturday American Eagle regional jet flights between New Haven and Charlotte Douglas International Airport beginning Dec. 22, the Tweed New Haven Airport Authority said in a release. Read More  

Subway looks to tap into new trends

Subway is partnering with digital entertainment network Tastemade to update the company's menu.

The Milford-based restaurant chain announced Tuesday it is teaming up with the food and travel network to look closely at consumer trends to spruce up its menu.

With the partnership, Subway is expected to tap into Tastemade's network of chefs and other food experts and incorporate culinary trends into the its food development process. Read More

Quinnipiac Featured In Princeton Review's 'Best Colleges' Guide   

Quinnipiac University is one of the country's best institutions for undergraduate education, according to The Princeton Review. The education services company features the school in the new 2018 edition of its annual college guide, "The Best 382 Colleges."

Only about 15 percent of America's 2,500 four-year colleges and two colleges outside the U.S. are profiled in the book, which is one of The Princeton Review's most popular guides. Published annually since 1992, it has detailed profiles of the colleges with rating scores in eight categories. The book also has rankings lists of top 20 schools in the book in 62 categories. All of the ranking lists are based on The Princeton Review's surveys of students attending the colleges. Read More
