IN-PERSON SERVICES BEGIN JUNE 14!
VOLUNTEER TRAINING THIS SUNDAY
REGISTERED ATTENDERS ON JUNE 14
We are excited to let you know that we will be re-launching our in-person worship services on Sunday, June 14. After a volunteer training on Sunday, June 7, we will open up to a limited number of families for a single service at 9:30 am on June 14. Online registration (details to come) will be required for in-person attendance to ensure we are able to keep everyone safe and comfortable.
The experience will feel a bit different . . . we'll sit in a socially distanced way, and we'll also request that you wear a mask while entering, exiting, or singing. There will also be no childcare, kids' ministry, student ministry, or on-campus adult Grow Groups during this service. But we know it will be a blessing to see each other and worship together! For those who are in a higher risk category, or for those who are not yet comfortable worshiping in person, our live stream worship will continue to be available at 9:30 and 11:00 am at
vrbc.net/live
.
We'll send more details in the days to come. See you soon!

SECOND TOWN HALL MEETING | JUNE 10 | 6:30 PM
Toward the end of 2019, in response to our changing office staffing status, our Church Council assembled a Staffing Recommendation Team (SRT) to review our current organizational structure and determine whether any changes or adjustments would be beneficial. Working faithfully and diligently alongside the Church Council, the team has spent the last several months researching, praying, and preparing a proposal for changes to our staffing arrangement.
On Sunday, May 31, the SRT made a formal recommendation during our worship services.
If you missed the presentation given by Pastor Larry and Church Council member Don Harton, please click here to watch.
On June 14, we will hold a congregational vote on whether or not to approve the recommendations of the Church Council and SRT. Due to the current pandemic, voting will take place online on June 14. Details will be announced during the service that day as well as through email that morning. In addition, there will be a drive-through option for those who are not able to vote electronically.
For more information or to ask questions, make plans to attend the Zoom Town Hall meeting on Wednesday, June 10,
at 6:30 pm. (Click here for the link.) Or, feel free to reach out directly to the Church council at

"GOD THROUGHOUT MY DAY" BEGINS SUNDAY!
It's been said there are two kinds of people: morning people, and people who hate morning people! While it's true that we're all different when it comes to our natural rhythms, one thing that's true of
all
of us is that the different times of the day provide us with different opportunities and vulnerabilities in our spiritual lives. The good news is that God's power and presence are available 24/7/365! In this series, we'll talk about how to intentionally open ourselves to God's presence throughout every part of our day. Join us this Sunday at
vrbc.net/live at 9:30 or 11:00 am to learn more!
