Free Webinar Opportunities

Tuesday, August 21st, 1:00pm to 2:00pm  CST

Do you have a clear picture of all your constituents and relationships you maintain? For small and developing nonprofits, relationships are the lifeblood of their mission, with resources probably being a close second. In this webinar with Idealware, we're digging into these relationships, along with CRM strategies and tips that can connect and cultivate the people that matter most to your mission.

CRM Integration Basics for Nonprofits
Thursday, September 6th, 12:00pm to 1:00pm  CST

Is your nonprofit missing out on opportunities or efficiencies because your data is too scattered? Integrating the tools that comprise your Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) system-which include the databases where you keep broadcast emails, donor data, case histories, event registrations, and other information-might help. But undertaking an integration project without first understanding the typical costs, benefits, and steps is a risky endeavor.

Special announcement: You're invited!

Nonprofits: You're Invited to the Second Annual
Cedar Valley GET A BEER* AND UNDO NONPROFIT POWER DYNAMICS DAY!   Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2018 from  4:30-6:00pm
SingleSpeed Brewing in Waterloo

Cedar Valley nonprofits and members of Metro Funders will come together for an informal, and unscripted, gathering. This idea, first created by nonprofit guru Vu Le, is being embraced by funders in the region. The idea is that funders and agency representatives can, as Le says "see each other as human beings, and help decrease the power dynamics so present in our sector." There's only one rule: no agendas!

Last year's event was a lot of fun, so we're bringing it back again. Please stop by, meet and mingle with funders and nonprofit representatives, enjoy some appetizers provided by Metro Funders, and grab your own BEER (which stands for "Beverage to Enhance Equity in Relationships," and does not have to be alcoholic).   You can read Le's original proposal on his blog,  Nonprofit AF .   Hope too  s ee you  September 11 !
