Chamber Fall Speaker Series  with Val Litwin, BC Chamber President and CEO

The Chambers Speaker Series kicked off with Val Litwin, President and CEO of the BC Chamber of Commerce.  Val eloquently engaged with 30+ Chamber Members about the work that the BC Chamber of Commerce has been doing on an ongoing basis to influence government decision making.  He explained about the BC Chamber's new award-winning MindReader platform that provides real-time intelligence on the thoughts and concerns of BC's business community.

FIND OUT HOW BC BUSINESS THINKS...
"MindReader" takes the pulse of BC businesses through highly efficient and effective surveys conducted by a leading national polling agency. The information collected and the analysis is shared with you. The results are also shared with the highest levels of the provincial government to aid in policy-setting and decision-making. Be one of Ladysmith's first MindReader participants -- all Ladysmith Chamber members and all their employees are invited to engage! Surveys are very brief, totally confidential and very professionally presented. Let's have Ladysmith's voice heard across BC!  JOIN BC MINDREADER NOW

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOUR INPUT !!!
BUILDING CAPACITY AND PARTNERSHIPS FOR RESTORATIVE JUSTICE PRACTICES IN LADYSMITH

Ladysmith Restorative Justice is a program of the Ladysmith Resources Centre Association (LCRA). Our mandate is to address crime and conflict in the community through restorative justice practices.
Restorative Justice is a philosophy and a movement that encompasses a shift in thinking from blame and punishment to how we can address the impact of harm to affected parties and community, restore relationships, and facilitate healing. Over the course of the next several months, we aim to build capacity and partnerships for restorative justice practices in Ladysmith through public engagement sessions, workshops for individuals and groups, as well as interviews with stakeholders from multiple sectors, such as government, community organizations, businesses, the general public, and the First Nations community.

You can help us by completing a short survey designed to help gather community input. The survey takes 2 to 3 minutes to complete and can be accessed by following this link:

For more information about restorative justice and this project, or to request a presentation, please contact: Carmen Hildebrand Restorative Justice Project Coordinator  email Carmen Hildebrand or call   250 470 9586.
