Central Avenue Reserve & Fryer Street Reserve

The playground at Central Avenue Reserve has reached the end of its useful life and will be upgraded.

We are seeking community feedback about whether the new playground is built at Central Avenue Reserve or Fryer Street Reserve

We are also consulting on a potential road closure of a section of Central Avenue Reserve (between Second and Third Streets).

Park Holme

Hendrie Street Reserve Inclusive Playground was officially opened by The Governor of South Australia, His Excellency Mr Hieu Van Le on 10 August 2018.

The park features wheelchair access to the first level of the main structure, swings, slides, a carousel, bike track, sand and water play, fruit trees and accessible toilets.

The City of Marion has recently developed a Community Facilities Policy 2018 to guide the future provision and development of community facilities. 

The policy is aimed at creating more opportunities for residents to enjoy recreational activities and promote social interaction.
