Located in the beautiful Dana Point Harbor, the Dana Point Turkey Trot is celebrating its 40th year!  Our flat, scenic race features a 10k, 5k and Kids Gobble Wobble.  Join us on Thanksgiving Day and give yourself an excuse for an extra piece of pie!

The Dana Point Chamber Office will be closed Wednesday, November 22nd through Friday, November 24th for the 40th Annual Dana Point Turkey Trot. 

We will resume normal office hours Monday, November 27th. Please leave a message at (949) 496-1555 and we will return your call as soon as possible.

Let us know your favorite places and events in Dana Point!  For the 10th year, Dana Point Times is hosting the Best of Dana Point for residents to let us know the their favorite parts of our beautiful city!

The Orange County Superior Court is looking for qualified volunteers to serve on the 2018-2019 Grand Jury. Assistant Presiding Judge Kirk Nakamura, chair of the Grand Jury Recruitment and Selection Committee, said, "I encourage Orange County residents to take advantage of this exciting opportunity to improve our community." The 19-member Grand Jury will take the official oath of office on June 29, 2018 for a one year term.

During the Prado West construction, Pacific Coast Highway and Del Prado shops, restaurants, and businesses are open!

As a Nation let us pay tribute to our brave Service Members & Families.  When you sponsor a Marine for Thanksgiving Dinner, you are giving them a chance to be together with other Marines, Sailors, our Wounded and their families in a warm, supportive atmosphere with a delicious Thanksgiving Dinner.  You are showing you care and appreciate the sacrifices they are making.  Most importantly, you are saying "Thank You." 

For only $35 Waterman's Harbor Restaurant in Dana Point will provide a fully-plated Thanksgiving Dinner, dessert, entertainment and raffle prizes. Our partners for this special event on Thanksgiving Day will assure our American Heroes that they feel the gratitude of our Community for their sacrifices and service.

A Feast of Lights

The Saddleback College Music Department is pleased to present A Feast of Lights on December 1st through the 3rd in the McKinney Theatre. The choral ensembles, under the direction of Dr. Scott Farthing, and the symphony orchestra, under the direction of Dr. Yorgos Kouritas, come together for this special holiday program of vocal and orchestral music for all ages to enjoy. A Feast of Lights has been a holiday tradition for over 25 years--perhaps one of the oldest traditions at Saddleback College. This year's festive program will highlight both old and new holiday favorites for chorus and orchestra. Get the holiday season started off with this sparkling concert for all ages! Light refreshments will be served after each performance.

Dana Point Historical Society Holiday Reception

The Dana Point Historical Society cordially invites you a holiday reception on Sunday, December 10, from 2-5 p.m. at the Society's museum, Dana Point City Hall, 33282 Golden Lantern, Suite 104.

We will have our annual slide show featuring pictures from this year's events and programs.

Chamber Seeks Hosts for Networking Events
              

Looking to get more people through your doors? We are searching for hosts for 2018 Networking at Noon and Third Thursday Mixers. Hosting an event allows you to promote your company/venue to business leaders in Orange County. It is a fantastic networking opportunity and is a great way to showcase your services first-hand to fellow Chamber members.
 
Donating a raffle prize is also a great way to market your business. When you donate to our Third Thursday Mixer raffle, you will have your logo, linked to your website, featured in our e-blasts!

Chamber of Commerce  Scholarship Fund

The Dana Point Chamber members are committed to continued education, not just for current business owners but also for future entrepreneurs.  That's why we've created scholarships for Dana Hills High School students.

Over the past three years we have donated $19,000 to Dana Hills High School students and next year we'd like to support even more students and we need your help! Help us reach our goal of  $5,000 to help five students! Pledge a donation to the Dana Point Chamber of Commerce for the Dana Hills High School Awards Program. Awards are presented at the Dana Hills High School Senior Awards ceremony.
