It's a new school year, we've moved to a new BFF office and many children in foster care are off to a new start! We invite you to read all about our summer book club, back to school parties, school supply drives, upcoming events, and so much more!

SUMMER BOOK CLUB
The best part of summer is our summer book club! This summer our students read either
Three Feet from Gold
or  Who Moved My Cheese, both amazing books!  Not only does the club keep them connected to their coaches, it keeps them reading and learning through the summer, and they love it! Click here to read some of our students' thoughts about the book club.

SCHOOL SUPPLIES
With a goal of close to 200 students this year, we needed a lot of school supplies! We are grateful to
CenterState Bank for holding a drive for us and the
Spirit of Giving for donating so many supplies. Thank you to everyone else who donated as well. It is only because of this combined effort that we are able to ensure we have enough supplies to start the year!
NEW BFF OFFICE
Over the summer, we worked hard preparing and moving into our new office. Since it is our home base, it was important for us to create a warm, uplifting and homey space that would inspire us to develop effective plans for our students. We recently held our annual all-team meeting in preparation for the new school year. We are ready and set for a great year!
BOWLING PARTY at STRIKES
Our inaugural Back to School party for our elementary students was a blast!  Thanks to  Strikes Boca for sponsoring the wonderful party. The children had so much fun bowling and playing games. They had a great lunch, homemade cookies for dessert, and went home with lots of goodies and school supplies. DREAM BOARD PARTY at PBSC
We held a luau for our Back to School party for middle, high school and college students, at Palm Beach State College. Thank you to Leadership Boca 2018 for helping prepare for the party. Motivational speaker Marc Murray shared his inspirational thoughts on the value of creating a Dream Board as a tool to stay focused on your goals; the students created their very own Dream Boards! Mixed with the limbo, a great lunch and lots of giveaways, our kids had a great time and are ready to be successful this year!
