Carr Fire Recovery: Business Loans and Economic Loss

We at the Small Business Development Center are here to help you navigate this difficult time for your business. Here are some of the loans currently available to you: 
  • There are some quick money, short-term loans for up to $5,000 available through SCED (Superior California Economic Development).
  • SBA (Small Business Association) has low-rate disaster loans available (up to $2 million) for anyone who's business was effected by the fire (physically or economically). This applies to businesses of all sizes, including non-profit businesses.
  • If you are a homeowner or renter who had fire damage, the SBA also has loans available for you. Just go to their website for more information. 
If you would like to meet with an SBA officer in person to discuss options for their business disaster loans you can meet with them Monday-Friday 8am-5pm at the  Business Recovery Center located at:

SBA disaster loans: The deadline to apply for property damage is Oct. 3, 2018. 
The deadline to apply for economic injury is May 6, 2019.
