We're coming up on another DAOM Weekend. The weekends schedule is included below. As notes are submitted by the instructors they will be uploaded to the Google Drive. Printed notes will also be made as are made available.
In this newsletter we will cover the following:

Cohort Representative Meeting - Summer Quarter
The Cohort Representative Council has scheduled the Summer Quarter Cohort Representative meeeting for Saturday 8/18/18 at 4 pm in Room E/F, immediately following the lecture. Please email your agenda items to the Cohort Represntative Chair [email protected] by Wednesday 8/15/18.

Sports Medicine Module
During the 2nd Meeting weekend of the Sports Medicine quarter, we would like to welcome back Robert Chu, PhD, LAc as he presents Master Tung's Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine for Sports Medicine, on Thursday 8/16/18.

Chinese Medical Classics 1
Lorraine Wilcox, PhD, LAc, is completing Part 2 of Chinese Medical Classics 1 on Friday 8/17/18. Hands on lab working with topicals will be conducted, so dress appropriately.

Constitutional Medicine (C13,C15)
Saturday and Sunday, 8/18/18 to 8/19/18, Tae Choong Choo, PhD, LAc, returns to lecture on Korean Constitutional Medicine. Dr. Choo is the president of the Virginia University of Oriental Medicine and is a long time faculty member with the DAOM Program. Dress appropriately for hands on needling labs.

Capstone Project 4 (C14)
Wei Zhou, PhD, returns for the final Capstone Project 4 on Sat and Sun 8/19/18 to 8/20/18. This is the final capstone course before submitting the final written Capstone Projects (Fall 2018) and your Capstone Final Presenation (Winter 2019), so please come prepared.

Capstone Project 2 (C16)
Patrick Downie, DC, returns for Capstone Project 2 on Sat and Sun 8/19/18 to 8/20/18. This is the final capstone course before submitting your written Capstone Proposals (Fall 2018) and your Capstone Proposal Presentation (Winter 2019).

Medical Presentation Order
Just added to the "1_Schedule (Didactic and Clinical)"
folder is the "Medical Presentation Order form."
This new form will help you and your faculty to better track your Medical Presentations.

Parking Passes for Summer Quarter 2018
The Building Management Office offers a quarterly parking pass for Emperor's College students to park on site, which allows unlimited in and out parking. There is a deposit of $25 for each card. EC students can opt for a part-time pass for four (4) days a week for $195 or a full-time pass for more than five days a week for $405.
Parking passes are valid for one quarter and will need to be renewed for each additional quarter. Please speak with Maricia at the front desk to renew your parking pass for next quarter.

Google Drive Folder - Summer Quarter 2018
The Summer Quarter 2018 Folder is now available. Go to Google Drive and search for "3_DAOM Summer 2018 (Sports Medicine)."
Please make sure that you download or save any lecture notes to either your computer or another Google Drive folder.

As a reminder please make sure that you must carry your current and valid CPR and First Aid Certifications with your student IDs with you are on campus.

The DAOM Website is now LIVE! Thank you to everyone's feedback and special thanks to Chris Johnson, our Director of Public Relations, for getting it up and running.
This will be the repository for all DAOM related information, such as Clinical Rounds, Medical Presenation, syllubus, etc.
Don't worry, Google Drive will still be used for private materials, such as lecture notes, individual presentations, capstone submissions, etc.
