From the Desk of
Senator  Ed Harbison

February closed out with Crossover Day, where we debated 41 pieces of legislation on the Senate floor. We worked long into the evening, addressing a number of topics like health care, broadband access, transit, criminal justice reform, higher education and most notably, tax reform. All Senate bills passing out of our chamber, now move to the House for further consideration.  Senate action highlights for week eight can be found in my full update below.

As last week brought to an end 29 of 40 legislative days, we head into the final stretch. This week, we begin debate and discussion on the many House bills headed our way. In the meantime, I will continue to update you on issues passing the Senate for the remainder of session. If you need anything at all, please don't hesitate to contact me anytime. Thank you for allowing me the pleasure of representing your interests under the Gold Dome!

Senator Harbison in Action
I recently had the pleasure of attending and speaking at the Georgia Military Veterans Hall of Fame (GMVHOF) induction ceremony for the GMVHOF Class of 2017.

The ceremony took place in the Floyd Veterans Memorial Building of the State Capitol complex.
It was a great honor to recognize the sacrifices of our heroes today and yesterday.
