CONSTRUCTION ACTIVITIES
February 2021
Beginning Monday, February 8, the San Bernardino County Transportation Authority (SBCTA) will begin construction of the I-10/University Street Interchange project in the City of Redlands; construction will continue through Fall 2021.

Initial work on the project will include installing construction area signs, clearing and grubbing the area and setting up k-rail for crews to work. Work throughout construction will include building retaining walls, installation of two new traffic signals and updating the existing traffic signal, pavement and restriping. At times work throughout the corridor may be loud and cause vibration.

CLOSURES AND DETOURS
University Street will remain open to through traffic at all times during construction, however intermittent lane closures will occur as needed. Throughout construction, we expect that there will be traffic shifts, intermittent lane closures, and ramp closures. We will notify you of closures and detours in advance and all closures and detours will be included in real-time on the project Google Map.

All construction is dynamic and the schedule is subject to change. To always be in the know before you go, access and bookmark the project Google Map by clicking the orange bar above or visiting goSBCTA.com/i10university.
