The Summit Pipeline Action Team commissioned a graphic image from John Auge that would speak to middle school students and encourage more nursing careers. The Nurse Heroes logo depicts nurses as powerful professionals and picks up on the popular super hero genre of movies and books to which these teens are attracted. The image will be used on flyers, exhibit presentation materials, website and other informational tools. Learn more about the team here.
The newly formed Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Team is led by Sandra Burrell, ADN, RN, a public health nurse with the WV Bureau of Public Health.
