Thanks to everyone who volunteered at the county fair, especially John Spahr, Kelly Spahr, and Brian Courtney. All their efforts are truly appreciated. John is the morning host on WTTF radio, and has interviewed many of our candidates and elected officials. Brian has taken a vacation week to pop the popcorn at the fair tent for over 30 years! Thanks also to Holly Stacy for hosting the visit by Fran DeWine, who is visiting all 88 counties on behalf of her husband Mike's campaign for governor.

Our state central committeewoman Lisa Cooper sent this note:
See the information below about a meeting at High Point in Bellefontaine on Aug. 9th. This would be a good opportunity to get high school and college students the chance to really hear what the difference is between socialism and capitalism and give those who are conservative, the talking points needed to respond to their classmates and teachers when they are toting socialism.
On Aug, 9th Loren Spivack, widely known as the (Free Market Warrior) will be speaking at the Ohio Hi Point Career Center Auditorium at 7:00 PM.
Loren is one of the best in the country at explaining capitalism versus socialism. He is very entertaining and makes learning a fun experience. He has been on a number of TV news shows including (FOX, CNN & NBC). He also speaks at numerous public events all over America.
There is no admission, so come and learn important truths about Free Market Capitalism & Socialism.
Bring your children and young adults to this meeting so they can learn the advantages of capitalism from a very gifted nationally acclaimed expert. Our nations economic future largely depends on our next generation learning the truth about why America became a great and prosperous Nation.

Former Sheriff Weldin Neff passed away a few days ago. He served our county for many years as game warden before becoming sheriff. He was also Seneca County Veteran of the Year for his service in Korea, and volunteered at many Republican events for decades. He was profiled in this
Advertiser-Tribune article by Jacob Gurney and his
obituary. Please remember him in your prayers.
