Shannon White, a doctoral candidate working in Chunling Yi's lab at Georgetown Lombardi, was one of four graduate students at Georgetown to receive a Graduate Research Fellowship from the National Science Foundation (NSF).

Daniel Sulmasy, MD, PhD, the inaugural Andre Hellegers Professor of Biomedical Ethics with co-appointments in the departments of philosophy and medicine, has been named acting director of the Kennedy Institute of Ethics (KIE) at Georgetown University. Sulmasy also serves as a faculty member with the Pellegrino Center for Clinical Bioethics. In his new role, Sulmasy will oversee all KIE programs and scholarship while continuing to serve as KIE senior research scholar.
After a rigorous national search, Ming-Jung Ho, MD, DPhil, has been appointed associate director of the Center for Innovation and Leadership in Education (CENTILE) and director of education research at MedStar Health. In this joint role, Ho will oversee CENTILE's programmatic opportunities, work with faculty at MedStar Health to publish their educational scholarship and more.

Mark Matsuura, an MBA candidate in the McDonough School of Business, has spent his summer working with a North Carolina nonprofit that provides evidence-based sexual health education and services for teens, where he is developing a model that allows the organization to reduce their reliance on grant funding and use alternative methods of financing.
