Zoomtopia 2019
This month, LightWerks attended Zoom's annual user conference, Zoomtopia, in San Jose, California. The event included workshops, hands-on demonstrations, networking opportunities, and announcements about exciting product updates and partnerships. World-renowned keynote speakers at the conference included actor and producer, Zachary Quinto, former NASA astronaut, Mike Massimino, and Virgin Group founder, Sir Richard Branson.
LightWerks and University of California Sign Purchasing Agreement
On August 28, 2019 LightWerks Communication Systems was awarded a competitively bid, 5 year contract with the University of California. The contractallows University of California (UC), California State Universities (CSU) and Community College campuses (CCC) to procure audio visual goods and services at competitive rates.

The fun filled afternoon consisted of hands-on service projects especially curated for youth and families to benefit the outreach of Los Angeles' non-profits, including
St. Vincent Meals on Wheels and
Baby2Baby. Projects such as assembling hygiene kits for people in need, crafting no-sew blankets for shelter animals, decorating lunch bags for hungry neighbors, writing notes of encouragement, and more offer opportunities to connect with community and give back.
