It is hard to believe that another school year has already begun! The General Assembly is passionate about promoting sound policy and supporting our state educational systems. As our economy continues to grow, it is imperative that our students are ready to fill any workforce gaps we may have. Below you will find my full education report! 

Speaking of education, congratulations to our own Columbus State University on their recent approval by the Board of Regents  to become one of the first to offer the University System's newest college education credential- a nexus degree. Nexus degrees are college credentials that emphasize hands-on experiential learning, skilled knowledge and connections with industry in high-demand career fields.
