All enrolled students must complete Registration prior to starting classes. Peninsula High registration will be held this Tuesday, August 14 in the main gym following this schedule:
Seniors 7:30am-9am
Juniors 9am-11am
Sophomores noon-2pm
Freshmen 2pm-4pm

Students who cannot attend Registration on August 14 must complete the process on the first day of school, Wednesday, August 22 starting at 7am in the gym.

Registration materials and instructions are available  HERE on the school website.

Please note - Registration is only for students who are already fully enrolled - i.e. students coming to Pen from Ridgecrest, Miraleste, or PVIS, OR students who are new to our District and have completed the online enrollment process and met with our registrar providing Proof of Residency and all other required documents. Instructions for enrolling at PV Peninsula High can be found HERE on the school website.

LOCKERS

Students should bring their own padlocks and must file a Locker Registration Form with the Attendance Office once they have chosen a locker. Locks are also available for purchase in our Student Store.

NEW STUDENT ORIENTATION
Panther students and staff are excited to welcome all incoming students in grades 9-12 to attend the PVPHS New Student Orientation on Wednesday, August 15, from 8am until 12:30pm in the main gym! Link Crew has worked hard to put together an incredible program that will help make the transition to Peninsula High a positive one. Link Crew juniors and seniors have completed extensive training and will serve as mentors and leaders for freshmen and transfer students all year. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes because you will be ACTIVE. Bring your class schedule, but leave all your other stuff at home....travel light!

TEXTBOOKS
Textbook checkout is in the school library from 7:30am - 3:30pm on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday this week, and after Late Registration next week. Students must bring their schedule plus the completed Textbook Pickup Slip.
Please cover your textbooks with paper or cloth covers. You will be charged for damaged books. Write your name inside each book.

CAMPUS CLOSED
Our campus will be closed on the mornings of Monday, August 20 and Tuesday, August 21 for staff development and training. Please plan ahead if you need to visit campus on either of these days.
SPIRIT PACK PICK-UP
If you ordered a Spirit Pack by the deadline (August 1st), it may be picked up in the Activities Office, P115, on Registration Day. If you didn't order a Spirit Pack, but would like some Spirit Pack items like zoo shirts, zoo socks, zoo visors, zoo sweats, class comp shirts, agenda books, and more, complete the ASB Merchandise Order Form and bring it (with your cash or check payable to PVPHS ASB) to the Activities Office P115 on Registration Day.

DANCE TICKETS
The "Back to School" dance will be in the PVPHS Gym on Friday, September 7th from 7:30 until 10:30 pm. This dance sells out EVERY YEAR, sometimes well-before the day of the dance. If you're interested in attending, we definitely recommend purchasing your ticket at Registration (see page 49 of the online PVPHS Registration Packet or download the Dance Ticket order form HERE). Tickets are $15 on or before August 22.

ATTENTION ALL FRESHMEN: GET YOUR LINK CREW CARD WHILE YOU STILL CAN!
Don't miss out on all of the awesome events Link Crew has planned JUST for freshmen, including the Back to Zoo BBQ and Fresh Fest! The card costs only $25 and is available ONLY through registration using the Link Crew Card Order Form (page 50 of the Registration Packet). Make your check out to PVPHS Link Crew. If you have any questions, email Beckie Dibble, PVPHS Link Crew Coordinator, at [email protected]

AGENDA BOOKS
The best way to stay organized this school year is with an Agenda Book! We've added most of our school's events to the Agenda Book, so it will be very easy for our students to write down all of their assignments while they keep track of late starts, special schedules, and more. Agenda Books are $15, and order forms are in the Registration Packet on page 51.
PRESSFRIENDS
PressFriends is an all-volunteer, student-run organization. Since 2008, they have mentored over 3,000 under-served youth helping them write articles for their school newspaper. You don't have to be a great writer to participate; you just need to like working with kids. To learn more about PressFriends visit the PressFriends website. Click here for more information about the volunteer training that is being held on August 25 from 2:15pm until 3:45pm.
