Men's Soccer Shuts Out No. 4 Generals at Home
The Virginia Wesleyan University men's soccer team shut out No. 4 Washington and Lee University, 1-0, Saturday evening under the lights of the Trinder Center. With the victory, the Marlins improve to 6-8-0 on the season and 3-2-0 in conference play. The Generals fall to 10-2-2 on the year and are handed their first conference loss (4-1-0).

Women's Soccer Plays Generals to Scoreless Draw
The Virginia Wesleyan University women's soccer team played Washington and Lee to a scoreless tie Saturday afternoon at the Trinder Center. With the result, the Marlins are 7-3-3 on the season and 3-2-1 in the ODAC. Washington and Lee move to 12-0-2 on the year (5-0-1 ODAC).
Volleyball
Volleyball Hits 20-Win Mark with Tri-Match Split
The Virginia Wesleyan University volleyball team split its two matches on the day, falling to Washington and Lee, 3-1, in the opening match before defeating Hollins, 3-1, in match two. With the results, the Marlins move to 20-7 on the season and move to 9-2 in conference play.

Lattuca Tabbed ODAC Runner of the Week After First Place Finish
Skyler Lattuca of the Virginia Wesleyan University men's cross country has been named the Runner of the Week by the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC). This is the fourth time this season he has earned this title and the sixth time in his career.
Women's Swimming
Women's Swimming Drops Randolph in Home Opener
The Virginia Wesleyan University women's swim team defeated Randolph 136-61 Saturday afternoon in the squad's home opener. This is the team's first dual meet win of the young season.

Men's Swimming Drops Home Opener to Randolph
The Virginia Wesleyan University men's swim team fell, 144-72, to Randolph in the team's home opener on Saturday afternoon. Despite the loss, the Marlins were able to notch one new school record.
Men's Golf
Men's Golf Places 16th at VSGA Intercollegiate
The Virginia Wesleyan University men's golf team finished up day two of the Virginia State Golfer's Association (VSGA) Intercollegiate Tuesday afternoon played at Blacksburg Country Club. The team shot a 322 over its final round, earning them a 656 (+34) total which put them in 16 th overall.

The Virginia Welseyan Unviersity women's golf team concluded its time at the Virginia State Golfer's Assocation (VSGA) Intercollegiate on Saturday played at the James River Country Club. The event was cut short by one day due to Sunday rains.

Field Hockey Flustered By Generals on Senior Day
The Virginia Wesleyan University field hockey team dropped its bout with Washington and Lee, 3-0, Saturday afternoon at Birdsong Field. With the result, the Marlins move to 4-10 on the season while sliding to 1-3 in conference action.
