New Carpool Procedures for Drop-off/Pick-up
. Go
here
to read the email that was sent yesterday regarding our new carpool process.
NEW POLICY! Early Pick-Up. If you need to pick your child up from school early, you must park in the parking lot and come to the front office to sign your child out.
Please note that early pick-up ends at 3:00pm
. If you arrive after 3:00pm, you will need to pick-up your child in the carpool line. Early pick-up is intended to be used as an exception and will not be allowed on a regular basis.
For example, if your daughter has a doctor's appointment at 3:45pm, and she gets out of school at 3:30pm, you will not be able to pick her up at 3:15pm. You will need to pick her up by 3:00pm.
Attention Kindergarten Parents! You are invited to a "Welcome to WCA Information Session" in the library on

Proof of identification will be required in the form of a driver's license for each visit to the school. Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our students safe.

How May We Help You? At WCA, we want our families to know how to find answers to questions and where to go to find important information. These
"How May We Help You" documents were created with you in mind.
Student Handbook. Please take the time to read through the
WCA Student Handbook. The handbook is located on our school website under Parent Resources/Parent Forms/Policies.
Dress Code Policy. This year, we are asking parents to sign a
Dress Code Acknowledgment Form. The Dress Code Policy is located on our school website under Parent Resources/Dress Code. Please turn this form in to your child's homeroom teacher after school starts. (This does not apply to preschool students.)
Volunteering at WCA. We love our WCA volunteers! We ask that each family volunteer
15 hours per school year. The volunteer requirement needs to be completed by the end of the school year. View more information about volunteering
HERE.
Important Forms. Parents are required to turn in the following forms to your child's homeroom teacher after school starts. We will also be sending home these forms with students the first week of school.
School Lunch. Our school lunch provider is
Michael's of Denver Catering: My Kid's Lunch. Please read the
Welcome Letter for information about pricing, creating an account, registering for the new year and ordering lunches. Lunches need to be ordered 48 hours in advance.
Returning families, make sure to update your child's grade level as well. The system will prompt parents to confirm their students' information the first time you log in for the school year. It will take you to your student tab upon login and will not proceed until you click the button to confirm your information. You can select the "action" menu next to any student needing a change and choose to edit the information as needed. For questions, you may contact them at 303-778-0916.
