Calling all Bakers!

We are requesting home-baked desserts to be added to the carry-out bagged lunches our Thea Bowman Ministry will serve on Saturday, January 16. As done in the previous two months, we kindly request bakers to prepare single-serving packaged desserts for our guests. Items like brownies or cookies placed in snack or sandwich zip lock type bags are greatly appreciated. Please drop them off to the Parish Office on Friday, January 15th between 9:00am and 4:00pm. Having that special “homemade” goodness is really appreciated by those we serve at the Thea Bowman Center!

Register for Adult Bible Study

At every Sunday Mass, Catholics confess that Jesus came down from heaven “for us men and for our salvation.” But what does “salvation” mean?

Please join us for our winter Bible Study beginning on Tuesday, January 26th, 2021 at 10:00am or 7:00pm and continuing for ten weeks. This study will be offered through FORMED. In this remarkable 10-part video series, Scripture scholar and theologian Michael Patrick Barber provides a thorough, deeply Catholic, and deeply biblical, answer.

Thank You from Family Promise!

Our annual Christmas Care and Share collection for Family Promise’s holiday store was another over the top success!

We collected over $900 in gift cards. Plus, there was an ENORMOUS assortment of games, puzzles, crafts and books, along with clothes, hats, gloves, mittens, household goods, etc. We needed a small trailer filled to the brim to transport all of the items to the Kinsman Center!

Also, we were able to give Family Promise $2,500.00 to help provide food, clothing, bus passes, etc. for the families living there. Thank you for your continued generosity to our families in need. Over 60 families (including about 140 children) composed of those currently in the program and those who are now in homes on their own in the community benefited from the Care and Share collection. MANY, MANY thanks to all!
