The Gubernatorial Primary is Tuesday, August 14, 2018
What is your plan for voting?
Offices on this PARTISAN primary ballot are Governor, U.S. Senator, U.S. Representative, odd-numbered Wisconsin State Senate seats, and all Wisconsin Assembly seats.
How the primary works
A
primary election is an election in which registered voters select a candidate that they believe should be a political party's candidate for elected office to run in the general election. They are also used to choose convention delegates and party leaders. Primaries are state-level and local-level elections that take place prior to a general election.
Wisconsin utilizes an open primary system; registered voters do not have to be members of a party to vote in that party's primary.

No Crossover Voting
Electors may vote for candidates of only one political party. Select a political party ballot. On the selected ballot, vote for the candidates of your choice by placing a mark in the space designated next to the candidate's name. Or, write in the name of a person for whom you desire to vote. If you vote for candidates of more than one party, no votes will be counted.
