Rural communities are wonderful places to live and work , which is why an estimated 57 million people – nearly one in five Americans – call it home. These rural communities also have unique health care needs.

This day celebrates the Power of Rural, by bringing to light the unique health care challenges that rural citizens face. It also showcases the efforts of rural health care providers, State Offices of Rural Health, and other rural stakeholders to address those challenges. Together, we can make a bigger impact!
