8th Grade Graduation Ceremony
Saturday, June 9th, we will hold our lovely 8th Grade Graduation at the Village Homes Clubhouse from 9:00 a.m. to noon. Please join us as we, along with their amazing teacher, Ms. Clerkin, celebrate the Class of 2018 and send them with blessings into their bright future.

This is a wonderful community event; however, please be mindful that the ceremony is comprised of students' and teachers' speeches and memories and is approximately two hours long. Please consider whether your child will be able to quietly enjoy this event.

The "Postcard Exchange" Project
One of the activities for the celebration of Waldorf's 100th anniversary this year is a postcard exchange project.   Every Waldorf school in the world is planning to send one postcard through the mail to every other Waldorf school in the world, so that each school will receive more than 1,100 cards from every Waldorf school from all over the world!

Our students have done the artwork on each individual postcard, but we need assistance in the cost of mailing the last 300 as most of the postcards are being mailed internationally at a cost of $1.20/each. You can either stop by the office to pick up some postcards to mail yourself to the country of your choice, or drop off a monetary donation to support the program. We would also welcome a financial donor to help us reach our goal faster if anyone is interested in supporting this project on a larger scale. Please contact Debbie Hicks in our office or email office@daviswaldorf.org.

Auction Thank You
Thank you to all our school community who offered up amazing auction packages this year.  Many of them have already taken place and each gathering provided a wonderful opportunity to get to know other parents, board members, faculty and alumni.  Grades that offered an experience package were so creative in their projects this year from providing babysitting service during the Board's Festive Indian Dinner, to the 4th Grade families hosting an unbelievable homemade spread for the St. Hans Nordic Celebratory Dinner.  Each of these brought our community together while at the same time raising needed funds for our school.  We are already looking forward to what might be available next year!
