Pierre Cardin Exhibit - July 20th

What a great day to visit an exhibit of a renowned French designer who had a big impact on American fashions.  A group and guests attended and enjoyed a docent led tour.

Not too much will be revealed this time so we do not ruin the experience for the group going in August.

TTN - Staying Active II

You've probably heard from your doctor that walking gives you many benefits. Not only do you get more fit and healthy, you also get MORE ENERGY, start to look MORE YOUTHFUL and start to see some BODY SHAPE appear.

Brisk walking can help to keep your heart strong by increasing your heart rate. It can also reduce your risk of heart disease and high blood pressure in the long-term.

We will feature a TTN member in the upcoming issues who are fighting the good aging fight.
2018 Peachtree Road Race, she got her tee shirt! Which means she finished.

Gail Collier-Glover
In the year 2000 while experiencing a stressful time, a co-
worker inspired Gail to put on her running shoes for the first time and venture into the world of running.  Little did she realize it would help alleviate her stress and also give her added energy, a sense of peace and well-being and improve her health. After about 5 years of running, due to joint problems her orthopedic doctor suggested she not run anymore and walking would be better.

In 2001 she signed up for the
Peachtree Road Race which is a 4th of July tradition in Atlanta and one of t he biggest 10K races in the world.  After the first one she was hooked.   She has participated each year with the exception of surgery and traveling conflicts.

She walks everyday.
