Although we are all in the thick of things at the moment, if anyone has an interest in sharing their stories, we’re dedicating the entire April issue of “ie” Magazine to the Coronavirus and the impact it has had on the Festivals & Events Industry.

IFEA PARTNERS WITH ENIGMA RESEARCH AND OTHER LEADING EVENT INDUSTRY ORGANIZATIONS FOR 2020 RETURN TO LIVE EVENTS SURVEY
Surveying over 2,000 regular attendees to sports events, festivals, fairs, exhibitions, and business conferences, this not-for-profit initiative will assist event organizers and stakeholders of all sizes to prepare for the global return to live events. Full results of this research will be made available FREE to IFEA members and will uncover the “new normal” of events, including timelines and motivation to return, opinions on precautionary measures, travel intentions, plus information for sponsors and governments.

2020 FESTIVAL & EVENT SURVEY
In an effort to gauge the impact of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic on our IFEA Festival & Event Members, please complete the below industry survey, letting us know how the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic has impacted your Festival/Event. If you organize multiple events, please complete this survey for each of your festivals/events, so each one is counted. FIRST DATA / CLOVER OFFERS SBA RESOURCE
IFEA Member Benefit Provider First Data / Clover is utilizing their partnership with NAV to help businesses apply for SBA Loans. NAV has created a CARES Act SBA Loan calculator and through their marketplace, will give merchants the ability to apply to SBA loans under the CARES Act. The recently established Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economics Security (CARES) Act provides $349 billion for small business loans to cover qualified payroll costs, rent, utilities, interest on mortgages, and other debit obligations.
