The Heart of Every Lover:
Weekly Offerings

"The only thing that I did not lose when I found myself One with God
was my sense of humor! So, though few can fathom my divinity, at least everyone can easily understand my being human."
Meher Baba
Lord Meher, p. 3496
Dear Meher Center Friends & Family,

A loving Jai Baba to you and your family from Meher Center.

I'd like to begin with some updated information on day visiting at the Center.  You can also find revised day visiting guidelines on our website.

1. Visiting hours are changing this Sunday, March 21. They will be 2:00 - 5:00 p.m every day going forward.

2. In addition to all of the outdoor areas of Meher Center, the compound at Meher Abode will now be open, every day, beginning Sunday, March 21 during the new visiting hours 2:00 - 5:00 p.m

3. To visit Meher Abode compound, please check in through the front gate (Dilruba is closed and that gate is locked), park in the lots inside the Center and walk to Meher Abode. Parking near the compound is only for those unable to walk.

In this weekly offering, we are focused on Meher Baba’s sense of humor, one of the hallmarks of His Avataric Advent. Baba loved good jokes, lively plays and funny stories of the happenings around Him. Kitty Davy once remarked that, in general, He liked the atmosphere around Him to reflect joy and enthusiasm.

So, we offer a smattering of stories and jokes that speak of His divine sense of humor.

In Baba’s love and service,

Lovers' Humor
Baba loved a good laugh! In this compilation video, some of His lovers come together to offer Him a jolly chuckle. Now wait a minute...don't get any ideas. We promise there are no metaphysical secrets within these jokes, just plain, old, silly humor.

"Laugher belongs to Him"
Mani Irani, Baba's sister tells hilarious jokes at Mandali Hall. After the room is tearing up with laughter, she shares the meaning of offering things to Baba, even something as small as a joke because He wants it. She then segways most profoundly into the subject of our longings and struggles that are rewarded with His patience and His love.
