SUMMER MUSIC SERIES ROUND-UP

On July 12th, at his program, "Understanding Jazz," professional jazz musician & expert Larry Newcomb gave a lecture on the history, progression and influences of Jazz music and shared his extensive knowledge on how to listen and enjoy this expressive genre. We look forward to having Larry back to the library for more jazz soon!

Also in July, Eric Roth performed a program of classical guitar pieces on an authentic reproduction guitar of the kind that was produced in 1830. Along with this, he spoke about the instrument, repertoire, composers and history of the baroque and classical pieces he performed.

Summer is moving ahead quickly; and Moffat Library is pleased to present two final music programs to wrap up our Summer Music Series!
