A Popular Patron, A Generous Donor
Helen Woisetschlaeger visits the Library nearly every day and has done so for years. "I was part of the human chain when we passed books from the old library to this one," she said, smiling. "That was fun!" She attends numerous programs and is particularly fond of listening to stories at Coffee with a Veteran. She said, "They entice you with sweets to come listen!" And she loved last year's Spooktacular and the music by the Foldes family. "They got everyone up and shaking it." Helen has lived in Sedona for 35 years, having bought a home on her very first visit. "I quit my job back in Illinois, and we relocated two weeks later." In addition to attending library programs and using our services, Helen is a bird rescuer and currently has a 20-year-old cockateel and a 29-year-old monk parrot. "I like taking care of things," she explained. She has certainly helped take care of Sedona Public Library with her support and patronage. Thank you, Helen!
With Your Support
We've Upgraded the Si Birch Community Room
In the Library's continued effort to bring the best service to our patrons, and with a generous donation from a regular supporter, we are pleased to announce a technology upgrade in the Si Birch Community Room. We have installed state-of-the-art AV equipment in both the large room and the adjacent annex, or "Green Room." We have not only improved the quality of our equipment, but we are now able to offer more options for our own programs and the many programs produced by patrons and partnering businesses and organizations. Come on in, and check it out!
