Dear families,

Our highest purpose at Oregon High School is to prepare each and every student with the skills, tools and experiences to be successful after graduation. I had the pleasure of welcoming the class of 2022 this morning as we opened our Jumpstart experience at OHS. Jumpstart to graduation is a four-year journey during which each student has the opportunity to discover their unique skills, interests and talents. Then, it is our responsibility to help in the post-secondary planning process so that students know what comes next and are prepared for this transition. Our partnership with parents begins with regular communication (two-way) and providing you with opportunities to understand and navigate the post-high school options. In the beginning, and the end, we're here for you. I look forward to another great year of supporting the students and families in the Oregon school community.

* Online registration information will be directly emailed to families from the District Office in the next week. You can complete all of your registration tasks, other than your school photos, through our online registration system. Look for the email with live links soon. 

School Photos: 
Life Touch will be at OHS during the school registration dates listed above. It is important that all students have their photo taken as these are used in the student yearbook (other than for seniors) as well as on photo ID's. Portraits will be available for purchase through October. 

Brad Ashmore
OHS is excited to welcome Mr. Brad Ashmore as our newest Associate Principal. Mr. Ashmore served in the Stoughton School District as an Associate Principal for the past 6 years. Brad is an Oregon resident and is involved in coaching for his two children's athletic teams. His wife is a teacher at Prairie View Elementary. He loves the outdoors and his hobbies includes fishing, golfing and hanging with family.

  • design engaging tasks that require critical thinking, reading, writing and problem solving;
  • give students ample opportunities, support and feedback;
  • measure and reflect on students' work; and
  • adjust plans and actions based on evidence of students' learning
Then all students will show growth as critical thinkers, readers, writers and problem solvers - skills for success at OHS and in future endeavors (college, career, and community).
