Join Us This Week for the Virtual Portion of 101st Annual Meeting presented by Halifax Health
The first part of the 101st Annual Meeting of the Daytona Regional Chamber of Commerce presented by Halifax Health takes place this week.

The livestreamed event will take place this Wednesday, January 27 at 4 p.m. on a private page of the Daytona Regional Chamber website.

Taking a Step Toward Normalcy with Hybrid Events
Beginning in February, the Daytona Regional Chamber of Commerce will begin to take slow steps toward normalcy by offering hybrid versions of some events featuring a limited-capacity in-person attendance option as well as remote, virtual access.

Following is a preview of some of the upcoming events on the Daytona Regional Chamber calendar with notes on virtual, in-person, and hybrid options.
HYBRID EVENT
7:30 a.m. - In-person check-in and breakfast - Halifax River Yacht Club
8:00 a.m. - Remote admission via Zoom and program begins

Get a preview of the upcoming state budget from Chris Spencer, Director of Policy and Budget, Office of Governor Ron DeSantis. A challenging year will lead to a challenging budget process. Join us to learn more about the impact of a difficult budget on our local business community.

Daytona Regional Chamber's Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Council Begins Work
The Daytona Regional Chamber’s new Equity Diversity & Inclusion Council, led by Carmen Ruiz, FASTSIGNS of Daytona Beach, had it’s first meeting to develop the outreach and programming for the Daytona Business United Minority Scholarship Program. 

This two-year pilot program is intended to immerse minority-owned businesses in the Daytona Regional Chamber and provide customized education, counseling and mentorship. The Small Business Development Center is a key partner in the program. 

Funding for the program will run through the Daytona Regional Chamber’s Foundation, a 501(c)3 entity. AT&T is our founding partner, providing the first eight scholarships for the program.
