Important Message Regarding Uniform and Library Book Collection
Dear Serra Families,

Next week, Serra will be open strictly for the collection of band uniforms, performance tuxedos, athletic uniforms and outstanding library books and AP Calculus notebooks. Please understand that the school building is not open at this time.  There will be an announcement in the future regarding a time for student lockers (academic and athletic) to be emptied.  If students do not have outstanding library books, AP Calculus Notebooks  and/or school-issued athletic equipment and uniforms, they will not need to attend the homeroom collection.

In the interest of safety and social distancing, we ask that anyone entering the campus must wear a mask and gloves when they return all items.

Upon arrival at Serra,  please drive through the gates on 20th Avenue and share your name with Mr. Peralta. No one is to exit their vehicles. Please drive past the pool and return all items at the blacktop area. Items should be bagged and placed in the backseat, driver side of the vehicle. Once students have reached the drop off post, please roll down the backseat window for easy collection of the materials. Members of the Dean Team and Athletics Department will meet you to collect all of your items -- they will take the items directly from the car to avoid contact.

All equipment and uniforms must be returned in the following format:
  • all items should be returned after they have been thoroughly washed
  • all items should be placed in a plastic bag
  • the bag must be labeled with the activity (band, basketball, track, etc.), student last name, first name, student ID# and team level if applicable (frosh-soph, jv or v)

All libraries books and AP Calculus notebooks must be returned in a the following format:
  • all books should be placed in a plastic bag
  • the bag must be labeled with the student last name, first name and student ID#

Please note that if you are returning items for multiple programs, please bag items separately.

It is extremely important to be on time for your scheduled drop off and to have all items prepared ahead of time in order to facilitate an efficient drop off. If families have more than one son, all items can be dropped off at the first scheduled drop off time. Please contact Mr. Peralta directly if you are unable to come at your scheduled time.

Please see the academic  schedule for the next two weeks.

We look forward to seeing you all next week! Go Padres!

Sincerely,

Charlie McGrath                                                                Marybeth Ortiz
