What We've Been Doing
"I want to take this opportunity to catch you all up as we enter into this new amazing year of 2021. I think back to 2019 when UNESCO invited our Source of Hope family to serve in the indigenous areas of Southeast Asia. We literally began the new year in 2020 by visiting 6 countries where we served, prayed, and provided financial aid from our generous donors to the local residents in need. Five weeks later, we returned to Dallas on February 5, 2020 with a full waiting list of patients for Stone IWC. But because of the pandemic we had to self-quarantine 14 days per the federal guidelines.
On February 20th, the City of Plano finally allowed Stone IWC to open for business. On March 13th, the President declared a national pandemic and that’s when the world changed as we knew it. Afterwards, Governor Abbot mandated a state lockdown causing us and Stone IWC to adapt and react to the new challenges. We setup Tele Consultation for Modern Holistic Health to assist our overwhelming number of patients. We had to reposition our foundation team to better help the community.
Every month, typically 67 volunteers together would prepare around 4000 home-cooked meals for people in need. However, state guidelines restricted gatherings to 10 people. In March and April of 2020, I had to step in with our non-profit organization and partner with other non-profits and universities to prepare, serve, and deliver 66,000 meals and groceries.
On May 1st our business was declared essential and was allowed to open. However, we delayed opening Stone IWC for a month to prepare the center following the CDC, OSHA, and state board licensee regulations and guidelines. We setup processes for the safety and health of our patients and staff that included strict machine sterilization procedures, temperature checks, and masks. We finally opened on June 1st to see our first patient.
Since opening Stone IWC, we have treated hundreds of patients with chronic health problems and referrals from holistic doctors. Because we target the root cause of patient illnesses and apply holistic wellness treatments from 39 years of experience, we have seen incredible results in our patients. This shows in our patients’ gratitude and delight at their improved health.
For 2021, we will continue our holistic wellness treatment approach as we go through our waiting list of clients. We are developing advanced educational programs for our patients and the community to raise awareness and knowledge about the root causes of common health issues. We will maintain our strict standards of safety and care during the pandemic.
Finally, I am grateful to our staff, clients, the doctors who gave us referrals, my family and friends, and most of all to God who gave us this opportunity to help others.
Thank you and Happy Lunar New Year to all of you!"
Love and Blessings,
QC President/CEO
