Ordinance 39, establishing a
public pound and  prohibiting
the running  at large of certain
animals within the town limits,
including  sheep, goats,  swine,
boars, mules, horses,
and cattle of any kind.

Harrison Force Main/Fjord Drive Utility Project
The City of Poulsbo will be constructing
improvements to the Fjord Drive/Harrison
Street Sewer/Water/Storm System.

The water main will be replaced and upsized -
adding more capacity and improving fire flow.
The sanitary sewer system will be upgraded and
moved from its current shoreline location and
rerouted down Fjord Drive up to Harrison.
The storm sewer system will also receive minor
upgrades - improving drainage. Additionally,
Cascade Natural Gas will be installing new gas lines.
All utilities are aging and due for upgrades.

The driving lanes will be replaced on Fjord Drive
and on the west side of Hostmark Street within
the project limits and there will be
ADA upgrades on Hostmark Street.

Bid open is in on May 30, 2018 at 2:00 p.m.  at
City Hall. Construction is expected to  begin in
late  June and wrap up by mid-late August 2018.
The estimated construction  cost is
$600,000 - $800,000.
WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT?
  • Expect some delays and limited road closures.
  • The contractor will be required to maintain local access to homes and businesses.
