A resident of Canyon Lake, Texas, and a member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma, Tim Tingle performs a variety of Native American and Texas folklore for all ages. Playing his cedar flute and deerskin drum, his stories for younger audiences include crowd-participating tales "How Rabbit Lost His Tale," "Grandma Spider Brings the Fire," and "Coyote and the Rock," a hilarious Trickster tale. "Crossing Bok Chitto," a Choctaw-aided slave escape tale—and best-selling book—is Tingle's most requested story, for all ages. "How I Became A Ghost,” a middle grade adventure novel of the Trails of Tears, is also a popular performance piece.

Donna Ingham
For over 20 years Donna Ingham has taken the ancient art of storytelling and given it a Texas twist. A college English professor in her former life and author of six books, she creates finely crafted stories from history, folklore, and her own personal experiences. Her stories reflect her native roots in the Lone Star State, and she chooses appropriate stories for all ages and stages. Her "Tall Tales and True" offering is a flexible, well-received program adaptable for all ages, with some stories complemented by guitar, ukulele, or washboard accompaniment.

It’s a fact that humor, laughter and novelty unchain the brain’s ability to learn and retain information, not to mention their power to motivate. Kidprov utilizes the art of improvisational comedy to establish a learning environment where participants are engaged, creative and motivated. Educationally entertaining, students return to the classroom energized and ready to learn.
