Trucking Association of New York & Bestpass Host Albany Touch-a-Truck Event to Benefit Veterans
|
Together, with the Trucking Association of New York, we put on our Annual Touch-a-Truck Event, in Saratoga Springs, NY, on Saturday, May 19, 2018.
Despite the rainy weather, more than 1,000 members of the community got up-close to more than 25 big trucks, construction and emergency vehicles. More than $3100 was raised to benefit
Veterans Miracle Center.

Pennsylvania Turnpike: Cashless Tolling Update
|
 The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission (PTC) has added some additional segments of toll road to its cashless tolling initiative. Toll roads in Washington, Allegheny, and Lackawanna County are all planned to go cashless in 2018.
Clarks Summit (No. 130) and Keyser Avenue (No.212) interchanges on the PA Turnpike's Northeastern Extension (I-476) in Lackawanna County have been successfully converted to a cashless tolling system, as of April 29, 2018.
The go-live date for the Findlay Connector - the six-mile segment of Southern Beltway (PA Turnpike 576) in Washington and Allegheny counties -- was originally planned for April 29, 2018, but has been delayed to later this spring or summer 2018.
"Tolling agencies across the country are introducing cashless systems and we owe it to customers to continue to use the best technology available in every facet of our operations," said PTC CEO Mark Compton.

Florida Toll Processing Outage Notice
|
 Due to the Florida Turnpike upgrading its system, the posting of Florida toll transactions is currently scheduled to be suspended on June 5, 2018 through June 10, 2018. Barring any unforeseen circumstances, toll posting will resume June 11, 2018.
What do you need to do? Nothing at all! We will post the toll data to your account as soon as it is available. If anything changes, we will be sure to let you know!

CDPHP Workforce Team Challenge
|
Shout-out to the Bestpass Team who absolutely crushed the CDPHP Workforce Corporate Challenge earlier this month!
Twenty Bestpass employees gathered at the Empire State Plaza in Albany, NY, to compete with thousands of other runners, walkers and volunteers to raise money for the Albany Public Library Foundation and the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York. The team ran/walked 3.5 miles and helped raise $44k - way to go, team!

Meet Rascal
|
 Rascal is the nine-year-old best friend of Pride Transport Safety Manager, Jacie Robinson.
Jacie has had Rascal since he was a three-month-old pup. Together, Rascal and Jacie work together to foster other animals with Rescue Rovers. Rascal is a great brother to the other animals Jacie takes in and even puts aside his jealousy to be a good sport and show the others the ropes. Keep up the great work, Rascal and Jacie!
