A soggy but successful weekend!
Along with loads of mattresses, electronics, and other items to dispose of and recycle, someone thoughtfully dropped off an old umbrella that our hard-working crews at Community Pride Days promptly put to good use! Thanks everyone who participated in another successful Community Pride Days despite all the rain.
This week is the 58th National Public Works Week, so it's a good moment on the heels of an event such as Community Pride Days to thank all of our folks who work to make sure our infrastructure and facilities are well-cared for and that our services such as waste disposal and water treatment run smoothly. We appreciate the hard work!
Keep reading for a rundown on what's happening in Golden right now, and h
ave a happy and safe Memorial Day weekend. Please note that City administrative offices will be closed next Monday in observance of Memorial Day.
