$5 Swim Up Movies at Moorhead

Enjoy family-friendly movies once a month during the summer with Swim Up Movies at Moorhead Recreation Center (2390 Havana St.).

  • Friday, Aug. 10 from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. - Finding Dory
Children ages 6 and younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian 12 years or older who is physically in the water at all times.

10-Punch Pass to Pools
Only $25!

The 10-punch pass, valid to all Aurora PROS outdoor pools, is only $25! Without the pass, drop-in fees range from $3.50 to $5 per person.

The pass is transferable to family and friends, and can be purchased at any outdoor pools:  Del Mar Water Park,  Aqua Vista,  Meadow Hills,  Parklane,  Pheasant Run, and  Village Green.

Farm Stand Comes to Moorhead

Visit Moorhead Recreation Center (2390 Havana St.) to purchase in-season fruits and vegetables. A cooking demonstration will also show how vital fruits and vegetables are to you and your family's health. The Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Program will be available to make appointments and answer any questions about the program.

  Volunteer at Global Fest
 
Global Fest is an exciting celebration of Aurora's diverse cultural communities and cuisine held on Saturday, Aug. 18 at the Aurora Municipal Center Great Lawn (15151 E. Alameda Parkway).

With approximately 150 languages spoken in Aurora's schools and more than 300 ethnic restaurants in town, eventgoers will experience Aurora's diversity of cultures, traditions and flavors.
 
Volunteers must be at least 14-years-old and will work in shifts assisting with the main stage, welcome booth and event activities. Please login at the link below or create an account if you do not already have one and search "2018 Global Fest" to sign up.
