I will tell of the LORD's unfailing love; I praise Him for all He has done for us.
Isaiah 63:7a
From the Executive Minister

"No, I tell you; but unless you repent (change), you will perish." Luke 13:3

Repent is a biblical word.  Both the Old and New Testaments thunder the call to repentance.  The Bible demands it and justice requires it.  The contemporary Poor People's Campaign presents the call to repentance.  Interestingly few modern-day preachers scarcely mention the word.

Repentance means change.  It means changing one's mind, changing one's attitude, changing one's ways.  Life without change is not a pleasant picture. Read more.

Installation of Rev. Dr. Carol Garrett

It was a day to remember for The Historic Parsells Church.  The church installed its first female African-American pastor Sunday afternoon.
The community welcomed Reverend Dr. Carol Garrett during a service held at the church.  Reverend Dr. Garrett says she's looking forward to her new role within the church.  The Historic Parsells Church has been in the Rochester community since 1895. Reporting for  WHAM News.
