Waystock Community Music & Fun Fest
|
Saturday, June 9 from 12pm to 5pm
On Saturday, June 9, Wayside PC will host its seventh annual Waystock Community Music and Fun Fest to benefit the Hempfield Area Food Pantry. The event is free, including all food, drinks, music, and kids' activities. The Fest is funded strictly by donations. There is no admission fee; we simply ask attendees to bring non-perishable food items to help the Food Pantry stock up for summer. Come out & enjoy great music, good food, kids' games & bounce houses, & hands-on hut activities. Bring your old and sensitive documents to be shredded (12:30pm-2:30pm), visit a fire truck, and/or sign up to give blood that day through the Central Pennsylvania Blood Bank. See you there!

Motorcycle ride to benefit
"4OurKids - Carol Stark Foundation"
Sunday, June 10 at 10am
Lunch at 11:30am, Ride at 12:30pm
"4OurKids" works in conjunction with 3 school districts. The Youth Aid Panel and the Lancaster Co. court system refers non-violent youth to court appointed community service with 4OurKids. 4OurKids has put between 40-45 kids through summer school annually, since 1998.
Their goal is to get as many kids as possible to receive their high school diploma. Every summer school course costs $250 per kid.

Old Leacock Church Community Hymn Sings "Singspiration"
First Sundays from May-Sept at 7pm
Old Leacock Presbyterian Church Corner of Old Philadelphia Pike & Old Leacock Road
The 16th Annual Community Hymn Sings Series, "Singspiration", will continue on Sunday evening, June 3, at the Historic 278 year old, Old Leacock Presbyterian Church. Beginning at 7pm, the hymn sings will be led by Tom Perella, with accompaniment provided by Dianne Yuninger, who will play the church's 116-year old Esteys Pump Organ. Lemonade will be served in the church's courtyard after the hymn sings. "Singspiration" will continue on Sunday evenings July 1, August 5, and will conclude on Sunday, September 2. Everyone is welcome!
