Avondale Presbyterian Church
A summer kids' event called
Shipwrecked VBS: Rescued by Jesus will be hosted at Avondale PC from Sunday, July 29 to Thursday, August 2 from 6pm-8pm each night. At Shipwrecked, kids discover that Jesus rescues them! Kids participate in memorable Bible-learning activities, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, devour yummy treats, experience one-of-a-kind Bible adventures, collect Bible Memory Buddies to remind them of God's love, and test out Science-Fun Gizmos they'll take home and play with all summer long. Plus, kids will learn to look for evidence of God all around them through something called
God Sightings. Each day concludes with the Sail Away Sendoff that gets everyone involved in living what they've learned. Family members and friends are encouraged to join in daily for this special time at 7:45pm each evening.

Peace Fest & Family Fun Day

Saturday, August 18 from 7:30am-1:30pm 
Cedar Grove Presbyterian Church
This year's Peach Fest & Family Fun Day will be held on August 18 with activities taking place both inside and outside our church. The activities will include our kitchen open from 7:30am to 1:30pm. The menu will include - pancakes, sausage, egg casserole, burgers, hotdogs, orange juice, coffee and lemonade.
Children's games and face painting will be held outside. Ice cream will be given to all children free of charge. There will also be a Bake Sale, Books & Jewelry Sale, Silent Auction and
Flea Market.
Come to the Peach Fest & Family Fun Day event for a wholesome, joyful day of activities. Bring family, friends, neighbors and lots of children for a great day.
