Upcoming Events:
The Latest Chapter Happenings
Dr. Eisner has spent a lifetime of practice in the field of systems engineering. This lecture will provide a "look back" over his 50-year career with his advice offered to the future generation of Systems Engineers.
Upcoming Events
There is an upcoming Virtual Career Fair that the chapter will have a virtual booth with reStart on Jan 28, 2021. Consider staffing the booth as well – you’ll be able to earn some Professional Development Units (PDUs) towards your CSEP or ASEP renewal.
Mike Pafford, Past Chesapeake Chapter President, will facilitate this Interactive Workshop in order to provide attendees with knowledge and practice in using a facilitated hybrid approach for Initial Project Planning (IPP). The approach uses best practices from the Lean Startup Method (LSM) and Agile (Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, and Project Management). The approach is employed by bringing together project planners at the decision-making level in one or more collaborative and facilitated, “IPP Meetup Workshops”.
Ms Zimmerman will discuss the DoD's Digital Engineering Strategy and its implementation as seen by the OUSD(R&E) to include its challenges and how this concept has added value.
President's Point of View
Our 2020 INCOSE-CC president, Mark Evans, discusses the challenge of last year and the hope for the next. Despite an unprecedented year of adversity, the Chesapeake Chapter persevered and rose to the challenge. Next year will only get better as we increase our dedication to serving the local Systems Engineering professionals

To greatly aid our chapter’s efforts in promoting engineering education for youth, we are seeking interested people to help us partner with the FIRST LEGO League this spring. One of our chapter members is on the Maryland FIRST LEGO League Planning Committee and has asked if INCOSE could field a team of volunteers to help judge their middle-school events. The FIRST LEGO League is a great opportunity to share in experiences and inspire our young folks.
