Bar Mitzvah of Ari Diamond
Saturday, June 2 | 10:00am
Lifecycle events are very important, not only for the individual, but for our Community as a whole. Please plan to attend and celebrate the Bar Mitzvah of Ari Diamond, son of Cathy and Josh Diamond, on Saturday, June 2, beginning at 10:00am. The sevice will be followed by a Kiddush lunch.

Whenever there is a Bat or Bar Mitzvah, please know that everyone is welcome to attend the service and stay for the Kiddush afterwards. Temple Sinai views these lifecycle events as a simcha that should be shared by the whole community. Families understand this and are happy to have congregants celebrate with them.

Chair Donation from UVM Foundation
The next time you are at Temple for services or another event, you may notice some new decor in the Social Hall, Library, and a few other places. Due to a very generous donation from the UVM Foundation--Alumni House, Temple Sinai acquired over 200 new-to-us chairs.
We would like to thank the UVM Foundation for this donation. Also, a special thanks to Ginny Greenblott for organizing the donation, Michael Levine for handling the logistics and assisting with the relocation the chairs from Summit Street to the Temple, and Brotherhood members (Steve Greenfield, Bruce Hicken, Mark Greenblatt, Len Rubin, David Weissberger, and Art Greenblott) for assisting with the move.

Mission Statement
We are a diverse, egalitarian, and inclusive community of Jews and interfaith families. We joyfully embrace Judaism as a way of life through prayer, music, social action, celebrating Jewish holidays, lifelong learning, and life cycle events. Through these activities, we seek to promote spiritual growth, moral values, and the social welfare of our community.
Vision Statement
Temple Sinai strives to be a joyful, energetic, accepting, innovative, caring, and accessible faith community. We choose to practice and teach Jewish traditions in our community, so that Jews and Judaism will continue to flourish, both in Vermont and in an ever-changing world. We believe that support for a safe and prosperous State of Israel is an important part of our Jewish identity.
