Gardening Workshop Today
"Compost Happens". Yes it does, and using it to help build beautiful surroundings is on tap today in our "Responsible Gardening" lectures at Thalatta Estate. Registrants are reminded the class begins at 9 am.
Traffic Circle Closure
Traffic Circle work is underway and a detour is in effect at SW 168 St & SW 82 Ave. Construction is expected to continue for approximately three weeks pending weather conditions.
136th Ave Bridge Closure
A full bridge and road closure at 136th St. between SW 70th Ave and 72nd will begin Tuesday, July 17 and will be completed by Tuesday July 31st. Florida Gas Transmission will be removing a portion of its 18-inch high-pressure natural gas pipeline .
Road Closures Ahead due to Water Main Work
On July 23rd, water main work in the areas of SW 168 Street and SW 174 Street between SW 88th Avenue and SW 87th Court will begin . Residents will be notified in advance of any necessary water shut-offs. Detours will be posted.
Proposed Community Center

Join us at Village Hall on July 24th as we hold our final workshop on what residents want in a proposed Community Center. Results from the June online survey will be shared.
Still Time for Camp
"Mom, I'm bored", said no kid who ever attended C amp Palmetto Bay. Get 'em off the couch and into the action. Low weekly fees include arts and crafts, sports, weekly field trips, swimming, snacks and more! Ages 5-12
Tennis in Full Swing
Here's a different kind of net flicks for your youngsters. Tennis Camp continues at Coral Reef Park with USTA trained instructors. Beginners through intermediates. Half and full-day sessions.
IBUS Park & Ride Rolls On
Every weekday, our FREE IBUS Express Park & Ride heads directly to the Dadeland South Metrorail Station from Holy Rosary-St. Richard's Catholic Church. Returns in the evening.
