The LOSHRS Awards Banquet is still coming up on February 9th, followed by another spectacular offshore racing season planned for 2019 including the 30th LO300 Challenge. Dates are set, NOR's are being crafted and logistics are well in hand.  
 
Make sure you stop by to say hello at the LOOR booth, #1615, during the 2019 Toronto International Boat Show
in January. Pick up our special flyer about the LOOR racing events and make sure you signup to receive a free copy of the 2019 Racing Guide.

2019 GLSS Annual General Membership Meeting - February 2, 2019
Come January and we all start thinking about launch - right? Well, perhaps at least focused on getting together with some old friends at the 2019 AGM. This time the meeting will be held in Detroit at the Bayview Yacht Club. Solo sailors and guests from the U.S. and Canada and from all the Great Lakes are welcome to attend this event. Offshore Personal Survival Course - March 2-3, 2019
Whether you're racing in the LO300 or just crossing the Lake...go safely. This two-day course is being held at Ashbridge's Bay Yacht Club and will help you learn how to prevent things from going sideways and what to do when they do! You'll get hands on experience firing off flares, putting out fires, practicing cutting rigging, getting in and out of a life raft and much more.
