Well, the Young Art Patrons of The Columbus Museum will know just how awesome it is to be the first institution ever to acquire a Jarrett Key Hair Painting for its permanent collection.

We humbly submit that Jarrett -- an emerging artist, native of nearby Alabama, and alumni of Brookstone School -- is kind of a big deal. He paints with his hair (wow!) and his performances have been featured at or in:

• The Metropolitan Museum of Art Library
• MoMa Library
• Galleries in Brooklyn, Chelsea, LES, Harlem, Boston, Ljubljana and Shanghai + more!

Our Jarrett Key Acquisition Event is coming up on August 24. The performance is free but those who donate $50 or more are invited to attend a private reception prior to the performance. Those supporters have the chance to help The Columbus Museum own an amazing work of art, contributing to the diversity of our collection while recognizing the talent of one of our own.
