As South Jersey natives, we can agree that our home has some unique assets - from access to shore points, to a vigorous agricultural industry, to a strong historic and cultural heritage. However, our region has also faced hardships due to the loss of industrial, manufacturing, gaming, and hospitality job opportunities, in addition to the impact of the Great Recession of the late 2000s. Despite these hardships, South Jersey residents have proven resilient and committed to creating new economic opportunities.

THRIVE South Jersey provides financial products to create and support economic opportunity for targeted areas in Gloucester, Cumberland, Salem, and Atlantic counties. Like M&T Bank, THRIVE believes that effective economic development begins when residents are connected with quality job opportunities that promote and allow for growth. The organization works to create these opportunities through loans, credit enhancements, and equity investments that support local small businesses and job creation initiatives.
