Meet CAR Researchers
In this edition of Autism Dispatch, we continue our series of interviews with the families, researchers and clinicians who make up the CAR community. We asked two post-doctoral fellows and two research assistants about why they chose to study autism, what is most exciting about their work, and what is the most important lesson they have learned in their career thus far.
Dr. Guthrie is a post-doctoral fellow at the Center for Autism Research at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia who focuses on early identification of autism and developmental trajectories for children with autism.
Dr. Sariyanidi is a post-doctoral fellow at the Center for Autism Research who specializes in computer vision engineering to digitize facial and body movements to enhance our understanding and detection of autism.
Ms. Thomas is a research assistant working with Dr. Judith Miller at the Center for Autism Research on a study to understand how young children with and without ASD respond to their name.
Ms. Bertollo is a research assistant at the Center for Autism Research, working along side Dr. Benjamin Yerys on his executive functioning research.
