Each year National Volunteer Week, (
Monday 18 May – Sunday 24 May 2020)
aims to celebrate volunteering. It provides an opportunity to highlight the important contribution volunteers make to the wellbeing of our local communities across a broad range of services.
Unfortunately due to COVID-19 restrictions, Mitcham events like the City Volunteer March and our movie morning tea won't be going ahead this year. However, we are still connected with our volunteers and are working on how we can re-start some programs, keeping within the guidelines.
If you are a volunteer or support
volunteering, show your support
by tying something red out the front of your home. Let's 'Colour your Community red!'
