That thought, often attributed to St. Augustine, nicely sums up what the gift of music can add to worship.
Being able to read music and (sort of ) carry a tune are blessings to those of us who choose to be in choir, whether bell or vocal. We do this because it enhances our own worship, it provides camaraderie, team-work, mental and physical exercise and it’s fun and rewarding.
Thank you, Lord, for the gift of music.
