 Martha Nussbaum, Ernst Freund Distinguished Service Professor at the University of Chicago, wants Americans to get in touch with their feelings. In Martha's new book,
"The Monarchy of Fear: A Philosopher Looks at Our Political Crisis," she writes against a (mostly male) tradition of philosophical and political thinking that minimizes emotions as a source of irrationality and embarrassment.

NAVY PIER HOTEL OFFICIAL GROUNDBREAKING CEREMONY
ACRON, a global real estate investment firm; Maverick Hotels & Restaurants, a leading hotel management and development company; and Navy Pier (
